End of year updates!

It's been a while since we've given an update! The second half of our year has been busy as usual!

• In June, we published another paper in Vision, showing context effects (this time defining context in terms of face-race) in lightness perception are surprisingly not expertise-dependent. Here it is Chang, D. H. F., Cheang, Y. Y., & So, M. (2018). Contextual effects in face lightness perception are not expertise-dependent. Vision, 2(2), 23, 1-14.

• Also in June, Dorita, Nicole, Idy, and KY went back to Osaka to complete fMRI data collection on our first set of 3D context projects.

• In November, our lab participated in the annual university open day

• In December, we ate a lot of pizza (Happy new year!)
